November 2023 saw Visit Gloucester launch the Gloucester Believes Christmas Campaign.
The campaign was created to celebrate all things Festive in the city, invoke that warm Festive Feeling, and provide both residents and visitors with all the information surrounding Festive Things to Do, See, Visit and Eat!
This year’s Retro was bigger than ever, and very well attended despite the weather!
One of the highlights of the city’s vibrant festival calendar, Gloucester Goes Retro featured over 500 classic vehicles filling the historic Gate Streets and Gloucester Docks, live music and dancing, re-enactors and stalls.
On 1 July Hi!Street Fest came to the City of Gloucester and saw Farrah the Giant Fox scoot into the city to meet Sabrina the Spirit of the River Severn. A carnivalesque style event with procession, live music, dancing, street entertainment, stalls, and vendors.
The Museum of Gloucester once again worked with the Royal Photographic Society (RPS) to bring their renowned International Photography Exhibition 163 (IPE 163) to Gloucester in January 2023. A total of 105 works by 60 photographers were displayed in the Museum from 28 January until 4 June 2023.
The National Monument for Serious Violence and Aggression, The Knife Angel, was in Gloucester for the month of February as part of its national Anti-Violence tour. The Angel is a beautiful memorial designed to celebrate lives lost to acts of serious violence. Please click below to read the Paid Media Campaign Report.
