Over these sunny months, we want you to share with us all the fun Summer adventures you’re having in and around Gloucester. Just tag us in any photos of the city you take, and you’ll be in with a chance of winning some great prizes. Here's the tag #GlosSummerPics

We’re after pics that best celebrate the city’s leafy parks, sparkling waterways, beautiful buildings (and you lot of course!), as well as those shots that really show off your creativity. With loads of awesome events going on and amazing attractions to visit in the city, there’s lots of opportunities this August to snap something awesome.

We have six excellent prizes that you can win in the following categories:

Best Action Shot
If you’re getting dancey at Gloucester Goes Retro, practicing your Method grab at Gloucester Ski & Snowboard Centre, or cycling the Sharpness Canal, grab that action shot and you could win a £50 Voucher to Ninja Warrior Gloucester.

Most Creative Photo
If you can capture something unique – the sun eclipsed by the Cathedral Tower, Barbenheimer crowds on their way to Cineworld in the Quays, or something super weird at the Museum of Gloucester, then four tickets for a Tower Tour of Gloucester Cathedral could be yours.

Best Nature Shot
Seen a Peregrine Falcon at the Cathedral or maybe you’ve snapped an elver in the Severn, got up close and personal with the critters at St. James City Farm or you’ve take a shot of your pooch up on Robinswood Hill? Win free tickets to see the fabulous natural world-inspired exhibits at Nature in Art.

Funniest Snap
Snapped a seagull grabbing a Greggs on Southgate Street, or maybe your mate caught unawares in the Kings Square fountains? Send us your funniest pic and the winner can choose between two tickets to Gigglebox Comedy Club at Gloucester Guildhall this December (for the bigger kids), or a pair of Nerf Super Soaker Rainstorm Water Blasters (for the kids).

Best Group Shot
It’s the gang, the team, the fam! Send us your finest shot of your favourite bunch enjoying the city, and you could win tickets to unearth the secrets at the ancient Folk of Gloucester.

Gloucester’s Finest 
Get the best shot of the city, the skyline, the big attractions, or something that really sums up Gloucester, and you will win a £100 Gloucester Gift Card that you can spend at a range of shops, cafes and restaurants in the city.

What do I need to do?
It's pretty simple really: we just want you to share your pics with us of all the things you get up to this summer, on your favourite social media platform, using #GlosSummerPics

Going on an adventure or simply having a stroll through the city, grabbing some food or just chilling in the sun - just share a pic with us - you get the gist!
