Bella Mia Outside

About

Jamie Di Crescienzo and Jake O’Malley started Bella Mia Pizza 7 years ago.

Starting as a wedding catering company out of their pizza trailer in 2016, they then developed their business into their first restaurant at Bella Mia Pizza @ No. 1.

Serving their authentic, wood fired, Neapolitan pizza with a selection of side salads and desserts dishes, in addition to their hard and soft drink selection and speedy service, this business is a prime spot for family birthdays and lunch/dinner time food.

GreenDoor @ No. 1

At the back of Bella Mia Pizza sits a green door, behind which is, what we like to call, “the best, worst kept secret in Gloucester”. Based off the old speakeasy bars found during the prohibition, this dark, cozy space is the No. 1 location to have a drink until 1am the next day. This brand-new business started by Jamie Di Crescienzo and Jake O’Malley was almost completely constructed by their own hands alongside Bella Mia Pizza. With floors from the original Mary Poppins set, an old, rustic, authentic countertop and an aesthetic that transports you back in time, these two spent no expense in terms of time and authenticity in this build.

Bella Mia Pizza is located on Quayside and can be accessed from Commercial Road from one of two staircases, or the ramp located by Kimber steps.
