What’s On
April is upon us, the clocks have changed, and the lighter evenings have arrived along with the Moomin ABC exhibition at the Museum of Gloucester!
We are very excited that Moomin 80 started on the 29th of March, and as part of this programme of events, you and your family are invited into a magical world inspired by Moomins this Spring and Summer at the Museum of Gloucester. Settle down for an hour to explore the magic world of the Moomins with your family and immerse yourself in the adventures of Moominmamma, Sniff, Stinky, Little My, Hodgkins, Snuffkin and Snorkmaiden!
In this incredible interactive exhibition, brought to Museum of Gloucester by the award-winning Bakehouse Factory, you can go on an amazing adventure centred on Tove Jansson's iconic stories.
There are lots of Easter Activities to enjoy, with Easter Trails at both Gloucester Cathedral and the Folk of Gloucester, both venues are also offering various Easter Craft Workshops, as are the Museum of Gloucester and the Soldiers of Gloucestershire Museum.
You can enjoy live music at Our House in Gloucester Food Dock on the 20 April, and lots of music acts at Gloucester Guildhall, including a Pink Tribute!
If you haven’t already, you can still book tickets, both online and in person, for Gloucester History Festival Spring Weekend, 25-27 April. Fifty of Britain's top historians, broadcasters, politicians and actors visit Blackfriars Priory for a mouth-watering three-day programme of compelling talks and controversial debates.
