Orchard Street Christmas Markets
5 November - 18 December, weekends only
The Orchard Street Christmas Markets return this year with a fabulous range of festive gifts, locally produced foodie products, delicious street food and pop-up bars. Over 90 traders will showcase the best of their produce, with a beautiful backdrop of Gloucester Quays and the historic Gloucester Docks.
Gloucester Quays Open Air Ice Rink
24 November - 2 January
Wrap up warm and make a date to join family and friends at the amazing Open Air Ice Rink, making magical memories on a family day out with the kids, at Gloucester Quays.
Lantern Procession and Christmas Light Switch On

With an Alice in Wonderland theme, this years Lantern Procession will make its way through the City Centre on Saturday 19 November, while the Christmas Lights are being switch on above!
Rotary Tree of Light Switch On
19 November, 3:00pm
The Tree of Light is a spectacular tree taking pride of place in Kings Square, in the heart of Gloucester's city centre. The tree’s lights will be switched on by none other than Father Christmas himself, and there will be music and entertainment before to get you in the festive mood.
1980s: Money Changes Everything Exhibition
All Month
The Museum of Gloucester's new exhibition is open now! The 1980s were bold, brash and contradictory times, an age of boom and bust, of greed, spending and charitable giving, when hair was big and shoulder pads bigger! Subjects explored include the changes to our attitude and relationships with (and towards) money, politics, fashion, music, tv and film, and much more.
