Combining a mix of the old and new, modern, modular spaces have been built into one of Gloucester’s iconic and historic waterfront buildings, perfectly positioned between the docks and Commercial Road.

This stunning space will house up to 15 food and drink businesses, with flexible lease arrangements, perfect for new start-ups. Offering a mixture of bars, cafes, international cuisine, and delis, with a strong focus on locally sourced and regional food and ingredients, it is set to be a foodie’s paradise.

No opening date has been announced as yet, but rest assured, as soon as we know, you’ll know.

University Campus

Set to open in September 2023, the University of Gloucester will see Phase 1 of its latest addition, extending its campus, right in the heart of the city.

The 1930s Art Deco building, which formerly housed Debenhams, is being transformed into a centre for teaching, learning, community partnerships and accomodation, providing a major boost to both regeneration and post-Covid recovery.

Part of the University's Mission is to support the growth and development of Gloucester's community, economically, socially and culturally. By transforming this much loved and iconic building into a hub for learning, will contribute towards creating a better future for the community of Gloucester.

The plans sit within the multi-million pound regeneration of Kings Square and The Forum, actively invested in by Gloucester City Council and Reef Group, providing an attractive destination for companies to relocate, reviving the city centre, and in turn creating up to a thousand new jobs.
