Putt Putt Noodle, an exciting new concept in adventure golf with eye catching themed sets and Pan-Asian street food, is set to open in Gloucester.

Work has already started on site at the new venue, which will cater to all ages, in the former Primark building on Eastgate Street and is set to open early next year.

Putt Putt Noodle is being brought to the city by the We Do Play group.  They operate immersive family entertainment experiences in over 100 venues globally.

The group’s crazy golf venture is rapidly taking off and its three current venues are due to be joined by four others opening in the next few months, including two in London.

Gloucester’s adventure golf complex will boast 18 holes across two courses, each themed with different aspects of Asian culture from cherry blossoms, to crouching tigers and hidden dragons.

Golfers who work up an appetite can order from an extensive menu of sushi and noodle dishes, alongside craft beers and elaborate cocktails.

The venue will also be available to hire for parties and corporate events.  Additional to the golf offering, the complex will house other immersive entertainment offerings, which will be announced at a later date.

The new attraction is set to complement the multi-million pound regeneration taking place across the city, including the £200million development of Kings Quarter by Gloucester City Council and its partners Reef Group, and the University of Gloucestershire.

The regeneration includes the improvements to Kings Square, the refurbishment of Kings Walk Shopping Centre and the nearby Forum development. The Forum boasts apartments with cathedral views, state-of-the-art digital conference facilities and office space along with a new boutique hotel featuring restaurants and a rooftop bar.

Across the city the Food Dock is now open with a range of local independent food and drink entrepreneurs further enlivening the city’s nightlife.
