Join Dr Julia Frearson for a restorative session within the tranquil setting of Blackfriars Priory. Take some precious time for yourself to relax and rewind. During the 75 minute lesson, you will be taken on a balancing journey of warming, mobilising, fun. A flowing class with breathwork and yoga nidra/intention setting.


Character Tours at The Folk of Gloucester

Multiple Dates

Meet their costumed tour guides who represent actual people such as Bishop Hooper, who burned at the stake, and other characters connected to the buildings. A listed historic building, the Folk offers you fascinating stories and gory tales while giving you a feel for how life was lived here since Tudor times.


Revive Couture

9 June

At Gloucester Guildhall, experience the thrill of sustainable fashion at the high-octane Upcycling Fashion Show with live music, local talent, clothing stalls, and a FREE workshop (for 16-30yr olds). Explore the Art Exhibition in collaboration with Hundred Heroines and enjoy short films highlighting the sustainable fashion theme throughout the day. It's a fantastic opportunity to discover new ways to repurpose your clothes, see cutting-edge sustainable brands, and watch performances by aspiring artists from The Music Works.


Unreflected Reflection: Rising Stars FC: Since '74

10 June

The Friendship Cafe presents the launch of Rising stars FC: Since'74. This new film explores the history and background to the club, the development of the community and what has been achieved over the years as the club now celebrates 50 years in local football.


Extinction (Exhibition at Nature in Art)

11 June - 14 July

This display features work by renowned artists and sculptors and comes from Explorers Against Extinction, a campaigning charity which Nature in Art has worked with in the past. Extinction is a new initiative for 2024/25 that highlights the effects of climate change issues through art and will help highlight the work and campaigns of the charity.


Ria Lina: Riawakening

13 June

In the aftermath of a global pandemic, comedian and scientist, Ria Lina has had a Riawakening and sees the world differently. In this, her highly anticipated debut tour which is coming to Gloucester Guildhall, Ria tackles the issues of coming out of a global pandemic, the new normal, divorce, dating in a new digital world, motherhood and what it really means to be a woman today.


Cathedral Quarter Celebration

14 - 15 June

Marking the close of the Cathedral Quarter Project. There will be a Makers Market craft stalls and entertainment, mural painting workshops, trails and activities for families along Westgate Street! Free admission.


Brick History Exhibition

29 June  - 6 October 

Build memories brick by brick at our captivating LEGO® exhibition, where iconic moments and figures are vividly brought to life. From Mozart to Martin Luther King Jr., from the Big Bang to DNA, and from mobile phones to moon landings, experience history on a relatable, human scale.
