We're heading into the Spooky Season here in Gloucester and we have plenty events to get you into the spirit of Halloween!
Halloween Harvest Pumpkin Trail
18 October - 3 November
Ready for a spooky adventure? Take part in the Gloucester Quays Pumpkin Trail and explore the centre while hunting for pumpkins! Visit the customer service desk for your trail map to jot down your answers and hand it back in once completed to collect a spooky sticker sheet! Trail maps are a £2 donation!
Séance
22 October - 3 November
Are you brave enough to embrace the darkness? Step through the doors of an abandoned shipping container and enter the eerie world of Séance. Once inside you'll be transported to a Victorian séance room where time seems to blur, and spirits linger. But heed our warning: here, darkness reigns supreme. Tickets are £9 each and are on sale now!
Little Brick Builders
25 October
Head down to the Museum of Gloucester for their Little Brick Builders Halloween Club for the under-5's! Get ready for a spooktacular session of relaxed play and creativity with LEGO® bricks in the museum. Let your little ones' imaginations soar as they build spooky, Halloween-themed creations and enjoy some frightful fun!
Bigger Brick Builders

Older kids can also enjoy a Halloween Lego Club special at the Museum of Gloucester with Bigger Brick Builders! They are calling all older kids to unleash their spooky creativity and building skills with LEGO® bricks in our museum. Join us for a thrilling session where you can relax, play, and construct eerie, Halloween-themed creations!
Costume Party and Family Disco
26 October
Eastgate Indoor Market will have a ghostly feel later this month with a special Halloween event taking place. A Halloween disco, costume party and storytelling event will be coming to the market on Saturday 26 October between 11am and 3pm. The family friendly event will feature exciting activities with prizes up for grabs for the best costumes. As well as this, there will be a range of Halloween-themed games and activities for the whole family around the market.
Halloween's Terrifying Tales

Join seasoned storyteller and magician Nick Brunger at the Folk of Gloucester for an evening of Terrifying Tales, Strange Stories and Weird Wonders. Discover the power of haunted objects and summon thoughts of the dead at this event full of mind-bending magic and spooky storytelling for adults.
Pumpkin Crafting Workshop

This autumn, pumpkins aren't just for carving! Join the Museum of Gloucester for a fun, hands-on session where you can transform yarn and spooktacular embellishments into your very own pumpkin masterpiece. Get ready for a spine-tingling adventure like no other with an exclusive after-hours ghost hunt at the Museum of Gloucester! As the doors close to the public, you'll step into the museum's shadowy halls and dimly lit galleries, where eerie whispers of the past come alive. Feel the thrill as you investigate unexplained footsteps, sudden cold spots, and other strange phenomena.
Frankenstein
29 October
Don't Go Into the Cellar Theatre Company present Frankenstein! Set against the beautiful and atmospheric backdrop of the Upper East Range at the Medieval Blackfriars Priory in Gloucester. In this original and faithful adaptation of Mary Shelley's perennial Gothic horror, award-winning actor and writer Jonathan Goodwin plays a host of characters, including both Victor Frankenstein and his monstrous creation. Dramatic macabre storytelling at its atmospheric best!
Halloween Quiz Night
29 October
Head down to Hop Kettle at the Gloucester Food Dock for a quiz on scary movies, horror TV and all things spooky! 1st place gets £100! They'll have themed cocktails, sweets and loads of prizes up for grabs (including best costume). Every ticket comes with a free pin badge.
Ghosts & Giggles Halloween Ghost Hunt
30 October
Go and join Becki from Ghosts & Giggles, & her team for a night of seeking the ghostly monks of Blackfriars Priory. Situated in the heart of Gloucester City Centre, this once magnificent priory has many secrets to tell. Founded in 1239 on a site that had once been part of a Norman castle. The Black Friars were of the Dominican order founded in 1217 by St Dominic to fight the twin evils of 'heresy and doubt'.
Halloween at the Folk
30 October
Join The Folk of Gloucester (if you dare) for their fun-filled children's Halloween events this Half Term. Each two-hour daytime session includes spooky storytelling, chilling crafts and a fiendish quiz trail around the 500 year old building.
Museum Ghost Tour
31 October
Grab your flashlights and ghost-hunting gear and head on down to the Museum of Gloucester for a spooktacular adventure! Their family-friendly ghost tour is packed with laughter and excitement as you explore the museum's mysterious past. Step into the museum's shadowy galleries and mysterious nooks as your guide weaves playful ghost stories and eerie legends from the past.
Imjin Barracks Fireworks and Funfair Night
30 October
Head down to Imjin Barracks for two fabulous firework displays! There will be a earlier child-friendly display (non-musical) and a bigger louder display set to a fantastic music track to cap off a fantastic evening's entertainment!
Gordon League Rugby Club Fireworks and Funfair Night
05 November
Chase Lane Fireworks are in the driving seat for this year's Gordon League Musical Firework Display! They will be offering all your favourites, as well as 2 incredible firework displays. The excitement doesn't stop with the fireworks! Enjoy an array of thrilling rides, games, and attractions at the funfair. From adrenaline-pumping rides to family-friendly amusements, there's something for everyone.
