As part of this year’s Gloucester Believes Christmas celebrations, Visit Gloucester, with the support of 17 incredible businesses throughout the city are delighted to bring you ‘Glosty’s Christmas Trail’.
Here at Visit Gloucester our aim is to showcase our wonderful city and all it has to offer, to both residents and visitors alike, and there is no better time to enjoy it than when the lights are twinkling above, and the warm festive feeling is all around.
Glosty’s Christmas Trail is a free activity for all to enjoy, and if you complete the trail you can win a fantastic Glosty Bag, perfectly curated in bright orange, to help you be more visible during the darker days. The trail started on 16 November, and runs until 5 January 2025, or whilst prizes last, don’t worry, there are hundreds of prizes available!
So how do you get involved you may be wondering?
Well … after a few years visiting his Great Uncle Frosty and cousins in snowier climes, Glosty the Snowman has returned to Gloucester, and he has been visiting various places in the city and we need you to help us find where he has been.
Step 1 – Head to the Museum of Gloucester to collect your Trail Map.
You’ll find the museum on Brunswick Road, Gloucester, GL1 1HP
Open: Tue-Sat, 10:00-17:00 and Sun, 11:00-16:00
Step 2 – Use the map to visit all the locations highlighted, pop in, say hello, and collect your sticker, and pop it on the map.
Step 3 - Collect 14 or more of the 17 stickers and you will win a Glosty Bag, simply take your trail form back to the museum to claim.
If you collect all 17 stickers you can enter the Grand Prize Draw, with a chance to win a £50 Gloucester Gift Card – Remember, you don’t have to complete the trail all in one go, you have until the 5 January 2025.
Most importantly we want you to have fun, enjoy exploring our city, hopefully visiting some places you have never been before, and make sure to have a chuckle at the jokes on the map along the way!
