It is the busiest time of the year in the North Pole, the elves are working overtime, fuelling themselves with candy canes and marshmallows, whilst the reindeer are stretching their legs and having their hooves checked ready for Christmas Eve.
Thankfully Father Christmas has squeezed some time into his busy schedule to visit us again this year, we've heard Gloucester is one of his favourite cities, and as usual you'll be able to visit him in a few different places.

St Nicholas at Gloucester Cathedral

Discover the origins of Father Christmas and meet St Nicholas himself at Gloucester Cathedral on the 14 December. Each child will receive an age appropriate book gift. Families will also have the chance to take part in Christmas crafts and a scratch Nativity. These activities are suitable for all ages and there is no booking required. Simply turn up any time between 10am and 4pm and enjoy!
Santa at Gloucester Docks
14 December
The 14 December is a busy day for Santa as he will also be visiting Kathleen & May at Gloucester Docks! You will get the chance to meet him in the Captains Cabin on this iconic 124 year old schooner!
Breakfast with Santa
21 – 22 December
Head down to Holiday Inn Gloucester – Cheltenham to have breakfast with Santa himself! Gather your loved ones for a magical morning filled with a delicious breakfast selection of continental and full English, a visit and gift from Santa at your table, story time at 11am, and the opportunity to capture the special moment with a photo!
Stories with Santa
7 – 21 December
The very popular Stories with Santa is back at the National Waterways Museum! During December, Santa will provide a 30 minute experience for little ones and their carers in a group session with other families. Listen to Santa tell a Christmas story and then come and collect a present from the man himself.
Signing Santa - Fluent in BSL
21 December
Get ready for extra festive magic this year as a Signing Santa Claus fluent in BSL is making his special visit to Kings Walk Shopping Centre, and he's excited to meet children of all abilities ahead of Christmas to make sure every child can share their Christmas wishes. It's a unique and heartwarming experience, perfect for creating unforgettable moments, snapping photos, and starting the festive season on a truly inclusive note.
Santa Meet and Greets
12, 19, 23, 24 December
Get ready for festive magic at Eastgate Shopping Centre and Kings Walk Gloucester! Santa Claus is coming to town, and he can't wait to meet all the good boys and girls ahead of Christmas.
