Tired of the same old same old, or wondering what to do together? Fancy trying something different with your significant other? Well fear not, because we've got it covered! Take a look at some of the fun things in Gloucester that you can do with your loved one, or ones! Gloucestershire really is the place to be for some romantic fun!

First up, and it is a bit bonkers, but oh so much fun, why not book your place and take some of the gorgeous llamas from Briery Hill Llamas for a walk ... You can also enjoy Llama Spas, full day Farm Experiences and even Pig Enrichment, where you can interact and pamper Briery's rescued piggies!

Next on the list, especially if you are a competitive couple, why not book on to one of the Adult Evenings at Ninja Warrior UK Gloucester held on Fridays and Saturdays, if you are super competitive, you could even book onto one of their Race Evenings! Ninja Warrior is suitable for all ages, with specific sessions available to choose from, exhilarating fun with a loved one, family or friends!

If you are up for a more 'thrilling' date, and don't scare easily, why not book yourselves onto Seance at Gloucester Prison, where you will learn to contact the 'otherside' using Victorian Methods!! Rather you than us! If the supernatural is a smidge too far for you, but you'd still love to see inside the prison, and we highly recommend a visit, why not book one of their tours, or onto one of their Hide & Seek session!! Yup you read that right, Hide & Seek in the dark of the night, spread over 4 acres of an abandoned prison, well we only said LESS scary!

The Gloucester Folk Trail is back for another packed year, taking place from February 14th to 16th, perfect timing for you and your loved one to immerse yourselves in the vibrant traditions of folk music, dance and arts, all set against the historic backdrop of Gloucester. There are an insane number of acts spread across so many venues, there will definitely be something that takes your fancy - check out the weblink above for the full schedule ...

For those of you who don't mind braving the elements, and we all know the incredible health benefits of a cold water dip, under supervised and recommended conditions of course, then why not book a lesson together with Discover Paddling? Former GB Kayaker Mike and his wife Grace run this, and offer memorable paddleboarding experiences from chilled paddlers, to skills and ability, and to entertaining fun games and challenges. Make sure you grab a hot chocolate after!

A more sedate activity to try is one of Gloucester Brewery's Beer Tasting and Brewery Tours! Experience the essence of craft brewing, starting with a refreshing beer in the taproom where Trevor the guide unfolds the rich history of the brewery and the buildings that house it. After you can indulge in a guided tasting session featuring signature beers, meticulously curated to tantalise your taste buds and elevate your beer appreciation to new heights, all within the ambience of the onsite taproom.

Finally, with the subject matter of unusual dates, there is no way we could omit the wonder that is LV14 SULA Lightship! Gloucester is privileged to be home to this magnificent vessel, freshly painted in vibrant red, and the only stay-aboard lightship in the UK - that's right, up to 4 adults can book the suite and stay over, for a night or longer! Owners Colin and Viv are the loveliest of hosts you could wish to meet, we really can't recommend this an idea for a totally unique experience, which also offers you walking distance to everything Gloucester has to offer - SULA is currently in dry dock, but check out her website above for more info, amazing images and to secure your booking for when she returns to the water.

Whatever you decide to do, unusual or otherwise, we would love to see your pics #visitgloucester
