Pancake Day is fast approaching, this year it falls on the 4th of March! The tradition for pancake day traditionally came about as a way to use up rich foods before the start of Lent.
Some prefer the more traditional pancake dish, keeping it simple with just lemon and sugar, whilst others like to go all out. We thought it would be a good idea to show you some of the fab places serving delicious crepes and pancakes - how do you eat yours?

Bills at Gloucester Quays have a range of pancakes on their menu! You can order a stack of buttermilk pancakes served with your topping of choice & pancake syrup. You’ll have plenty to plough through with their fruit, bacon, and Biscoff toppings as well as their gluten free and vegan options if that’s your thing!
Spago
Located in Bakers Quay, Spago Creperia is a tucked away secret café where everything they serves is homemade and fresh! On their menu, you’ll find a range of hand crafted sweet and savoury crepes, with options including avocado and egg, salmon, chorizo, Nutella, bananutter, and caramel!
Sisu Pancakes
Looking for something a little different? Then Sisu Pancakes is the place to visit. They now have a kiosk stand in Gloucester Quays where they serve their range of pancake cakes!
Misters
Mister’s Café and Bistro on Westgate Street have a range of pancake stacks available on their menu. Their toppings include bacon, banoffee, oreo crumb, and many more!
Kaspas
Induge in sweet delicous crepes at Kaspas, down on Stations Road, as well as their artisan Italian gelato, mouthwatering waffles, scrumptious sundaes! Their toppings include chocolate, strawberry, bannoffe, and many more!
Portivo Lounge
Portivo Lounge at Gloucester Quays offer triple stacked buttermilk pancakes with a range of topping such as streaky bacon and maple syrup, and berries and marscapone!

Treats 4U on Soutgate Street offer mouth watering desserts with the finest sand freshest ingredients including a range of crepes with wonderful toppings including penut butter, marshmellow, malteser, and much more!
