Eastgate Indoor Market will have a ghostly feel later this month with a special Halloween event taking place.

A Halloween disco, costume party and storytelling event will be coming to the market on Saturday 26 October between 11am and 3pm.

Whether it be a ghost, goblin, or a ghoulish superhero, visitors can pick out their best costume and celebrate in style at the indoor market, located inside Eastgate Shopping Centre.

The family friendly event will feature exciting activities with prizes up for grabs for the best costumes.

As well as this, there will be a range of Halloween-themed games and activities for the whole family around the market.

Eastgate Indoor Market is Gloucester's go-to destination for unique shopping and community events. Located in the heart of the city, the market is home to a variety of traders.

The Halloween event has been organised by Gloucester City Council alongside Invest in Gloucester.

Invest in Gloucester is a city council initiative, established to support investors in Gloucester to start up in business, invest in infrastructure, and establish themselves successfully. It is designed to attract investment to Gloucester by providing support, guidance and advice.

Cllr Declan Wilson, Deputy Leader of the Gloucester City Council and Cabinet member for resources, said: "We can't wait to welcome families to the Halloween extravaganza at the Eastgate Indoor Market.
