About
Families in Gloucester are in for a creative treat this Easter as Eastgate Shopping Centre hosts a fun-filled, free children's workshop during the Easter school holidays. Taking place on Saturday 19th April from 10.30am to 3.30pm, the event is designed to spark imaginations and offer families a fun and relaxing activity in the heart of the city.
The hands-on Easter and Spring-themed Make & Take Workshop invites children to get stuck into arts and crafts using a fantastic range of colourful and recycled materials. With a choice of spring favourites including chickens, Easter eggs, rabbits, butterflies, and lambs, kids can bring their own creations to life.
Using chalk pens, feathers, collage supplies, and other tactile decorations, children can craft their own unique puppet to take home at the end of the session. Each activity takes around 20 minutes, with room for up to 20 children at a time in a relaxed, drop-in format.
Organisers are expecting over 400 children to take part throughout the day, making it one of the centre's most vibrant and creative family events of the year. The workshops are free to attend and open to all, with no booking required—just turn up and get creative.
