About
Visitors to Eastgate Shopping Centre in Gloucester are set for a nostalgic treat this Easter. The most memorable elements of the beloved Beatrix Potter Clock are returning home, ready for a whole new generation to enjoy. These iconic parts will be showcased in a dedicated display area at the top of the escalators.
Originally disassembled in 2013 due to unavailable custom parts, the clock was donated to the Pied Piper Appeal. Elements of the clock were then shared with SEN schools around Gloucestershire, delighting children across the county. Now, after 12 years, these cherished pieces are coming back to Eastgate.
The Beatrix Potter Clock elements will be on display from April 12, perfectly timed for Easter school holidays. Families are invited to visit, relive fond memories, and create new ones with this special piece of local history.
