3 peaks of Brockworth challenge sponsored walk

About

Get Ready for the 2025 "3 Peaks of Brockworth Challenge" - A Local Adventure Like No Other!

The highly anticipated "3 Peaks of Brockworth Sponsored Walk" is returning for its second year, following the overwhelming success of its inaugural event. Hosted by the Friends of Castle Hill School, this exciting outdoor adventure invites participants to explore the stunning landscapes surrounding Brockworth, including Castle Hill, Coopers Hill, and Nut Hill. With breathtaking views of the village, the challenge promises to be a highlight for adventurers of all ages.

The event, which will take place on 18th May 2025, kicks off at Castle Hill Primary School (Brockworth, GL3 4NU) and features a marked route suitable for everyone, from seasoned hikers to families. With walk options ranging from 1 mile to 8 miles, the challenge is designed to accommodate all fitness levels. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Participants will receive a commemorative medal made from seed paper for their efforts, with the event taking place just one week before the world-famous annual Cheese Rolling event, adding to the excitement of the local community.

This year, the Brockworth based charity has secured sponsorship from local business Gloucester Chiropractors, who have generously pledged funds to cover the event's running costs. Their support will help ensure that all proceeds from the event go directly to the Friends of Castle Hill School, enhancing the local school community.

To participate, individuals can register with a £5 donation to the Friends of Castle Hill School, though sponsorship is encouraged to further support this wonderful cause.

Don't miss out on this incredible opportunity to challenge yourself, enjoy stunning views, and make a positive impact on the local community. Start training today and get ready to conquer the peaks!
