About
Come along for a bowl of soup and a show at lunchtime!
The Fearless Navigator is a 40-minute one man show which tells the remarkable story of Howard Blackburn, who in 1899 sailed the Atlantic from Gloucester, Massachusetts to Gloucester, England. This was despite having lost his fingers to frostbite 15 years before. The performance takes the audience from the fateful day when, as a fisherman, he got caught in a freezing storm in the Atlantic in 1875 to his celebrated arrival in Gloucester, England on August 19th 1899. It is a powerful and emotional story which was first developed for the 2012 Olympics.
Each £10 ticket includes a bowl of soup (or equivalent light lunch) and admission to the short play.
