Tudor Day - at home with Henry VIII

About

To celebrate the Tudor origins of our unique building, the Folk of Gloucester is going back in time for one day and inviting everyone to meet the Tudors! Greet King Henry VIII and his royal court, marvel at demonstrations of historic crafting techniques, and listen to live Tudor music drifting through the building from local musicians. Try on historical costumes and have a go at traditional games of the time. Enjoy a day of historical reenactment, music, workshops, stalls and demonstrations.

The cafe and bar will be open throughout the day serving hot and cold drinks, lunches, cakes and snacks.

Entry is free with donations welcomed. The Folk of Gloucester is a charity which relies on donations for the upkeep of the building.
