About

Nature in Art is unique - within the fine Georgian mansion can be found the widest range of nature-inspired art in the world. Spanning 1500 years, displays embrace work in all mediums and styles from across the globe. The collection contains the best creations of 600 artists from over 50 countries. So typically, as well as a temporary exhibition, you'll find contemporary glass, watercolour landscapes, bronze sculptures, the Flemish masters, modern engravings and even some ancient oriental treasures. With such diversity you're sure to find things that appeal to you, perhaps some that intrigue or inspire you, whilst you'll certainly make some discoveries of your own.

The popular artist in residence programme gives you the opportunity to meet and talk to an artist whilst they demonstrate their skills. The museum has twice been specially commended in the National Heritage Museum of the Year Awards and is the 2023 winner of 'Best Art Gallery in Gloucestershire and Worcestershire' in the Muddy Stilettos Awards.

Why not come for an explore in 2024. There are 20 Special Exhibitions, over 100 children’s activity sessions, 43 artists in residence, over 40 art courses, several mini craft markets, monthly talks, family fun days, a renowned craft fair and much more.
